Sunny Day Problems

October 2008 Magazine

Most railway photographers prefer taking pictures on a sunny day because the sunlight gives a snappier, more attractive appearance than when pictures are taken on a cloudy day. Nevertheless, pictures taken on sunny days often need work to deal with problems that are not seen on cloudy days.

The image below shows sections of the original image after the correction of several problems on or around the locomotive. The printed magazine explains how to make these corrections.
