Part 15 describes the differences between shooting in Raw format and Jpeg. Raw format has many advantages and these are described in the printed magazine. Some examples were included showing a Class 375 unit at Hastings. These images are reproduced here so that you can judge the differences for yourself, although it is important to bear in mind that some differences are less apparent when viewed on a computer screen compared to viewing A4 sized prints. Place your mouse over the Jpeg image below and it will change to show the version created from the raw file. Pay particular attention to the area around the left hand windscreen, coupler and overhead warning sign.
