Sometimes reflections can cause problems on an image. For example in the shot below of an HST a reflection has burned out the yellow edge of the cab giving an ugly white effect. The article in the printed magazine explains how to fix it easily and quickly.
 

The same technique has been used to fix the burned-out roof edges on another HST picture. The full picture is shown below including close-ups ‘before’ and ‘after’ fixing the problem. While not pretending that this is a completely invisible repair, the white area is now covered in a convincing way.
