Part Seventeen describes how to process a raw image in the ‘Raw Shooter Essentials’ raw converter which is available to download free of charge from Pixmantec.com. It runs only on a PC.
One of the key factors in successful raw conversion is creating an image with areas of maximum brightness and darkness while minimising the amount of ‘clipping’. An example of clipping was printed in the magazine and is shown below.
