Night photography is a popular branch of the hobby especially during winter months. The article describes a number of techniques for improving night photographs using the example of 20302/303 on a water cannon train at Worksop station. There are techniques suitable for all levels of experience - from beginner to advanced.
One technique worthy of particular note has been used to render the station lamps more accurately. Without special treatment the lamp “overspills” into the surrounding sky.
